I'm a software developer, and I build and operate Staff Ping — the whole thing: the app, the support inbox, and this site. There is no team behind the curtain. When you email support@staffping.net, I'm the one who answers.
What Staff Ping is
Staff Ping is a Shopify app that sends WhatsApp alerts to your store's staff when orders need attention — new orders, high-value COD, cancellations, or only the orders that match filters you set. It has been live on the Shopify App Store since March 2026. Merchants don't need a WhatsApp Business account or API access — the app sends alerts from its own WhatsApp number, and staff receive them on the regular WhatsApp already on their phones.
I built it after watching store teams find out about orders the slow way: someone refreshing the Shopify admin, someone forwarding screenshots into a group chat, someone getting a phone call. The order should just show up where the team already looks — WhatsApp.
